Overview

Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
2. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions.
3. Strip and make beds, changing linens, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
4. Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and window ledges thoroughly.
5. Vacuum entire room and empty trash.
6. Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies.
7. Sign for room keys, retrieve, restock, and inspect rooms for cleanliness.
8. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Ability to scrub surfaces, extend arms overhead, and work in confined spaces.
2. Willingness to assist co-workers and be a team player.
3. Knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment.
4. Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodation.
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Compensation

Salary Range: $17.00 per hour. Tipped/Service Charge: No. Discretionary Bonus: No.
