Responsibilities

• Identify primary and secondary payers.
• Determine if services are in or out of network and alert patients to cost differentials.
• Identify and meet third-party payer requirements of immediate admission notification, precertification, referral or authorization.
• Collect payment in full inclusive of co-payment and deposits.
• Prepare patient's chart.
• Communicate patient rights and responsibilities.
