Job summary

Better Health Group is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant (MA) Float to support patient care across the region. You will prepare patients, take vitals, assist physicians, and manage front-desk tasks as part of a busy clinical team.

The role requires Spanish/English fluency, experience as an MA, and willingness to travel within the region about 85% of the time. CPR and IV start certs are preferred; high attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.
• Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA).
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• IV Start Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for provider examination and record vitals in EMR.
• Assist provider with examinations and procedures as directed.
• Maintain complete and detailed EMR records of patient information.
• Answer phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, and triage calls.
• Explain treatments, meds, diets, or provider instructions to patients.
