Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required for oral and written communication.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; further education is a plus.
• Experience in workforce development or social services is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year supporting clients seeking employment or job placement.
• Proficient with computers, internet research, databases, and virtual learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with identifying promotional and recruitment plans to increase job seeker enrollment.
• Promote El Barrio through events and recruitment; build relationships with clients and recruitment sources.
• Screen, interview, complete intake, and verify eligibility for programs.
• Present information sessions outlining opportunities, trainings, and requirements.
• Maintain relationships with contract partners to support referrals and track outcomes.
• Enter and maintain data for recruiting and intake; provide CRM reporting support.
• Apply evaluations or assessments to applicants as applicable.
• Contact potential job seekers promptly after referrals to outline enrollment expectations.
