The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and native-level Spanish, with excellent communication and organizational skills.Work Location: Newark, NJ – 100% on-siteWork Schedule: Full-Time hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)Duration: 3 Months (with potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs)Pay Rate: $20/hr to $23/hr - depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in both English and Spanish.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the electronic dental record system.
- Assist with patient intake, forms, and basic insurance verification.
- Maintain and organize front-desk documentation and patient records.
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, patients, and staff.
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and email correspondence.
Required Skills:- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Fluent in English and native-level Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Minimum of 1 year of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience (medical or dental setting preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with digital scheduling systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced academic/clinical environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Standing, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing. Lifting up to 20lbs.
