Birmingham Orthodontics in Hoover, AL is hiring a bilingual Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our practice. You’ll manage check-ins, answer calls, and coordinate scheduling with our orthodontists and team to keep the day running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 2+ years of front office experience preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• First Impression Champion: warmly welcome patients and families, managing check-ins, phone lines, and direct customer service with enthusiasm.
• Patient & Schedule Optimization: coordinate scheduling, appointment confirmations, and patient flow to maximize efficiency.
• Insurance & Financial Coordination: verify eligibility, manage patient accounts, and explain coverage to families.
• Records & Administration: maintain HIPAA-compliant patient health records and digital files.
• Practice Support: maintain front-desk stock, assist with office organization and cleanliness.
