Strong emphasis on district curriculum alignment, ongoing professional growth, and effective communication. Requirements include a valid AZ teaching certificate, ADE certification, and a minimum Provisional SEI/ESL/Bilingual endorsement

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate.
• Meets Arizona Department of Education certification requirements.
• Meets Criteria of Appropriately Certified.
• Minimum of a Provisional SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement.
• Background check cleared upon employment.
• Must possess a valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card.
• Bilingual Endorsement (preferred).
• English as a Second Language Endorsement (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Teacher Advancement Program (TAP) accountability system.
• Attend ongoing professional growth groups (clusters).
• Collaborate with mentor and master teachers to enhance expertise.
• Collaborate on lesson planning and instruction.
• Develop an Individual Growth Plan (IGP).
• Monitor student progress toward school goals using assessments.
• Align lessons to district curriculum and state standards.
• Demonstrate appropriate teacher-student interactions with warmth and respect.
• Maintain organized instructional groups and supervise volunteers.
• Maintain accurate records meeting timelines.
• Communicate with staff, students, and administration.

Education

Arizona teaching certificate

Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement)
