Job summary

Avondale Elementary School District seeks a certified teacher to provide high-quality classroom instruction aligned with Arizona standards. You will collaborate with master and mentor teachers to enhance instructional practice and participate in TAP-based accountability and professional growth activities.

Requirements include a valid AZ teaching certificate, meeting ADE certification criteria, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Arizona teaching certificate.
• Must meet all Arizona Department of Education certification requirements.
• Meets Criteria of Appropriately Certified.
• Minimum of a Provisional SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement.
• Bachelor's Degree required; background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Bilingual/ESL endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in TAP teacher instructionally focused accountability system.
• Attend ongoing professional growth groups (clusters).
• Collaborate with mentor and master teachers to enhance expertise.
• Assist in lesson planning and align lessons to standards.
• Maintain accurate records meeting timelines and communications.
