Job summary

Requirements include a valid Arizona teaching certificate, a minimum provisional SEI/ESL/Bilingual endorsement, and successful completion of a background check with IVP fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate is required.
• Must meet Arizona DOE certification requirements.
• Minimum of a Provisional SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement.
• Must pass a background check and have an IVP Fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Participate in TAP teacher instructionally focused accountability system.
• Attend ongoing applied professional growth groups (clusters).
• Collaborate on lesson planning with mentor and master teachers to enhance expertise.
• Develop an Individual Growth Plan (IGP) and monitor progress toward goals.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with students and staff.
• Align lessons to district curriculum and state standards.
• Create effective instruction with clear objectives and varied activities.
