Job summary

SkyChefs in Miami is seeking a ramp safety-focused individual to oversee driver SOP training and file maintenance. The role emphasizes compliance with security and regulatory procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma, possess a valid driver's license, and bring 3-5 years of safety experience (AOA ramp experience welcomed). Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Night/weekend shifts may be required as operations demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files.
• Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications.
• Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance ID’s for trucks are current.
• Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures.
• Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
