Job summary

SkyChefs, LLC is seeking an Airline Ramp Safety Clerk for its PHX location. The role focuses on monitoring driver SOPs, maintaining driver files, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures in a fast-paced ramp environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain the Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days. 3–5 years in safety, strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills, and flexibility for night shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire.
• 3–5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may substitute year-for-year.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; able to use other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor driver SOP adherence and assist with safety compliance.
• Update and maintain driver files and documentation.
• Process Port Authority/Customs identifications for drivers.
• Ensure state inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current.
• Support Ramp Safety Supervisor and perform clerical duties as needed.
