Job summary

HotFoot Recruiters is seeking a Bilingual Purchasing Specialist in North Phoenix, AZ to support sourcing, vendor management, and procurement for a semiconductor chemical manufacturer. This full-time, on-site role pays 68k–78k DOE.

The position requires 2+ years in purchasing or procurement, ERP experience, and Mandarin Chinese proficiency, with strong negotiation and analytical skills. You will collaborate with production, QA, finance, and other departments to maintain a cost-effective supply

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, purchasing software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Chemical manufacturing or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese required.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, equipment, supplies, and services needed for production and company operations.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery, compliance, and overall performance.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, and purchasing terms.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Work closely with production, quality assurance, finance, and other internal departments to support timely purchasing needs.
• Coordinate with QA on supplier audits and vendor compliance requirements.
• Track supplier performance and help maintain a reliable, cost-effective supply chain.
• Support process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and general office administrative needs.
