Job summary

HotFoot Recruiters is partnering with a construction and engineering services company to fill the role of Bilingual Buyer. This on-site position supports day-to-day purchasing and supplier coordination across internal project teams and overseas vendors to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and services.

The role requires bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English, a bachelor's degree (preferred), and 1–2 years of procurement or administrative experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of procurement, purchasing, or administrative experience preferred.
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, or project-based environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities for construction and engineering projects, including PO creation, tracking, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with domestic and overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Communicate with vendors and internal project teams regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and supplier files.
• Assist with sourcing new vendors and collecting and comparing quotes to support purchasing decisions.
• Work with engineering, project management, operations, and accounting to align procurement with project timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning as needed; support contract documentation and compliance with procedures.
• Assist with resolving delivery issues, discrepancies, or invoice-related questions.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support related to procurement and supply chain operations.
