Job summary

Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency in Visalia seeks a senior administrator to coordinate day-to-day operations of Public Health programs, oversee QA/QC, customer service, and process improvement, while supervising office staff.

Requirements include an Associate's degree and 3–5 years of supervisory experience in emergency management or health services, with fluency in Spanish and English. A background check and pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory or administrative experience in emergency management, or WIC clinic setting, local government or health and human services.
• Knowledge of supervision principles, time management, and program staff development.
• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency required; Spanish reading/writing/speaking fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of Public Health programs, including QA/QC, customer service, problem-solving, safety, process improvement, EHR systems, and supervision.
• Plan, organize and direct the work of office staff delivering services to clients and participants.
• Review staff work per County policy and prepare statistical reports for analysis and performance metrics.
• Create and manage contracted services for Public Health programs.
