German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GACC) in New York City is seeking a full-time, bilingual German/English Project Manager to support the Business Development Consulting Team.

You will organize industry events, conduct market research, and coordinate B2B matchmaking for German and American companies. The role requires 2+ years of experience, a BA in business-related fields, and strong German/English communication.

Formación

• Graduate BA in Business Administration, International Business or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English.
• Deep understanding of business concepts, sales strategies and market analysis.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Service-oriented personality with accountability.
• Ability to work independently while integrating with the team.
• Experience with both German and American business environments strongly desired.
• Cold-calling experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Organizing / hosting industry events, business delegations, and startup delegations (venue, speakers, catering, invitations).
• Consulting German companies on US market entry or expansion with reports in German and English.
• Facilitating B2B matchmaking via phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Organizing government sponsored projects, market studies, webinars, delegations and conferences.
• Proposal writing for government projects and bidding opportunities including market background and budgeting.
• Coordination with German governmental partners (DIHK, IHKs, BMWE, associations).
• Supporting the virtual office service of the GACC.
