NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Bilingual (German/English) Audit Manager / Business Developer in Chicago, IL to lead audits for US-inbound international clients and expand the German-speaking client base. The role combines audit leadership with strategic business development and international collaboration.

You will manage engagements, coach teams, and leverage cross-functional workstreams to deliver high-quality services while navigating cross-border client relationships and travel

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of audit and assurance experience.
• Fluent German written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong English communication, writing, and research skills.
• Leadership capability and dedication to teamwork.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements for US-inbound international clients.
• Support business development to grow German-speaking client base.
• Manage audit teams and review procedures for complex areas.
• Plan engagement objectives aligned with standards and risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax professionals.
