Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) is seeking a part-time team member for the CACP Center in Boston, MA. The role involves supporting sparc! programs, events, and community partnerships, with on-site work on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with people of all ages.
• Experience in Boston neighborhoods (Roxbury, Mission Hill, Dorchester).
• Strong communication skills and punctuality.
• Experience creating and leading art workshops.
• Bilingual in Spanish; Haitian Creole / Cape Verdean Portuguese Creole a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, prep, and facilitation of sparc! programs and events.
• Attend weekly sparc! team and CACP staff meetings.
• Assist with planning and facilitating weekly team meetings.
• Prepare materials, supplies, and resources for sparc! events.
• Research and order art materials with the sparc! Program Manager.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination.
• Translate sparc! materials from English to Spanish as needed.
• Support the student team during office hours with guidance.
