Job description

Our Mission Foods facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations at this location. The role involves directing, planning, controlling, and monitoring the production department lines under the supervision of the Department Manager. The ideal candidate will supervise a team of up to 35 employees.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Ensuring all processing activities conform to product specifications and GMPs.
  2. Verifying, controlling, and ensuring production parameters stay within budget.
  3. Serving as a liaison between Department Managers and hourly employees.
  4. Scheduling work assignments, vacations, and days off for employees.
  5. Verifying labor hours and payroll accuracy.
  6. Assessing training needs, providing training, and documenting it.
  7. Conducting monthly safety and quality sessions with proper records.
  8. Resolving team conflicts, issuing disciplinary actions, and recognizing achievements.
  9. Setting measurable goals for continuous improvement.
  10. Following company regulations and enforcing safety policies.
  11. Performing other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of manufacturing production experience required, preferably in bakery or food/beverage sectors. At least 2 years supervisory experience or 4 years as a lead is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven leadership in manufacturing supervisory roles.
  • Experience with regulatory inspections (AIB, OSHA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems and Programs.
  • Familiarity with GMP, LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural, international environment.
  • Basic analytical skills.
  • Physical ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including holidays and weekends.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $78,500 annually plus $3K bonus. Full benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k), FSA, and relocation assistance.
