Job summary

Colorado Premium Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production employees, optimize yields, and ensure food safety and quality in daily operations. You will coordinate with logistics, safety, and QA teams to drive continuous improvement and meet scheduling goals.

Strong leadership, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and experience with HACCP/USDA compliance are valued as you mentor staff and sustain an engaged, compliant workforce in our Jackson Field facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Three years progressive leadership experience in relevant commercial food operations.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, and knowledge of industry product reporting systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations; bilingual a plus (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises production personnel to achieve yields, gross margins, scheduling, and sanitation.
• Leads loss prevention, risk management, USDA compliance, and labor/employee relations.
• Coordinates with Human Resources on recruitment, training and retention of talent.
• Ensures safety and quality standards; trains staff to follow SOPs and HACCP/USDA requirements.
• Maintains production paperwork, inventory records and performance metrics.
• Mentors staff to ensure engagement and succession planning as appropriate.
• Addresses production issues; analyzes variances and implements continuous improvement actions.
