Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Los Angeles, CA plant to lead daily production operations, enforce food safety standards, and drive quality and efficiency. The role reports to Plant Manager and Production Manager, requires five years in food manufacturing with supervisory experience, and Spanish language skills to oversee shop-floor staff.

You will collaborate across QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to meet safety, productivity, and delivery goals

Qualifications

• Five years of food manufacturing experience, including supervision.
• Spanish language proficiency to manage shop-floor staff.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety systems.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP, FSMA.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse to resolve issues.
• Train and develop staff on equipment operation and food safety.
• Foster safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
