Job summary

Gruma, S.A.B. de C.V. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our Tempe, AZ facility. The role directs and coordinates the production department to ensure efficiency and quality, while leading a team of up to 35 hourly employees.

You will schedule shifts, verify labor hours and payroll, and drive safety trainings and continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with GMPs, LEAN, Six Sigma, SAP and ADP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of production supervision in manufacturing.
• Bakery or food/beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, control, and monitor production department operations.
• Supervise up to 35 hourly employees and schedule shifts.
• Ensure processing complies with product specs and GMPs.
• Verify labor hours and payroll accuracy.
• Lead safety and training initiatives; conduct monthly sessions.
• Set department goals for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Department Managers and hourly staff.
