Aeroservicios USA in Miami seeks a detail-driven Production Planner & Procurement Specialist to manage master production schedules for GSE, coordinate with engineering and fabrication, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires English/Spanish fluency, strong communication, and experience in ERP/MRP systems; responsibilities include supplier vetting, PO management, inventory optimization, and OSHA compliance across fabrication bays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in production planning, inventory control, and purchasing in heavy manufacturing.
• OSHA knowledge and safety certifications preferred (OSHA 30+).
• Ability to read engineering blueprints, BOMs, and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize master production schedules for custom and serial GSE.
• Coordinate with engineering, welding, fabrication, and assembly to balance capacity and lead times.
• Monitor WIP, identify bottlenecks, and implement contingency plans to meet deliveries.
• Generate daily/weekly reports on schedule adherence and efficiency variances.
• Manage procurement lifecycle for structural steel, hydraulics, electrical components, fasteners, and sub-assemblies.
• Source and vet suppliers, negotiate pricing and SLAs to reduce costs.
• Issue POs, track shipments, reconcile invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels using ERP/MRP systems to prevent stockouts.
• Ensure OSHA compliance across fabrication bays; conduct safety audits and JSAs.
• Enforce PPE use, LOTO, HazCom, and ergonomic best practices; coordinate safety training.
