Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking Private Swim Instructors in Boulder, CO. The role involves teaching swimming lessons per YMCA guidelines, developing lesson plans, and building strong relationships with students and families.

You will communicate program details, maintain records, and ensure safety per all policies. Qualified candidates should be at least 16 years old and hold CPR and First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain).

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Ability to work well with youth and parents.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons following YMCA guidelines.
• Prepare lesson plans for each class.
• Build relationships with students and parents.
• Share information on aquatics programs and schedules.
• Maintain attendance and progress records.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Complete required reports and organize equipment.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
