Job summary

Kidango is seeking a dedicated early childhood assistant to help plan and implement daily lessons aligned with developmental goals. You will support the learning environment, supervise children, and assist with activities, meals, and transitions in a safe, engaging setting.

Preferred candidates are bilingual in Spanish/English, hold a GED or HS diploma, have 6 ECE units, and can work a flexible schedule. Immunization records and mandatory abuse reporting are required.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma required.
• Immunization records per SB 792.
• Must be a mandated abuse reporter.
• Flexible work schedule required.
• 6 ECE units required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, preparing, and implementing daily lessons and activities aligned with early childhood development goals.
• Assists in planning and preparing the learning environment and materials.
• supervises and engages children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
• Supports children with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
• Assists in the Desired Results process.
• Observes and documents child behavior and development.
