Job summary

Kidango in Fremont, CA is seeking an assistant to help plan and deliver daily early learning activities aligned with developmental goals. The role includes preparing materials, supervising children, and supporting diverse learners.

Candidate should be capable of maintaining a safe classroom, communicating with families, and following licensing regulations. A health screen, TB test, and immunization requirements apply.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Prior experience with young children preferred.
• Immunization records per Senate Bill 792.
• Must be a mandated abuse reporter.
• Must work within Kidango’s core hours with flexibility.
• 6 ECE units required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing and implementing daily lessons aligned with early childhood goals.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment and materials.
• Supervise and engage children during activities, play, meals and transitions.
• Support children with diverse learning needs and language barriers.
• Observe and document child behavior and progress as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents as directed by supervisor.
• Uphold health, safety and well-being standards for all children.
