Job summary

Wells is seeking a Training Specialist to support both recruiting and operational training, with a strong focus on engaging Spanish-speaking employees and candidates. This role helps Wells position itself as an employer of choice within diverse labor markets while ensuring clear communication, safety, and effective onboarding.

The position collaborates closely with Operations and HR to remove language barriers and support employee success throughout their employment lifecycle in a hands-on plant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years in a precast manufacturing environment or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees on precast manufacturing processes, SOPs, equipment operation, and safety; deliver these programs during onboarding.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance; conduct safety briefings and audits.
• Evaluate trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and document progress to ensure skill development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with management to implement best practices that enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Maintain accurate training records and update training materials as procedures or regulations change.
• Lead and manage the mentorship program and train mentors, coordinate mentor assignments, and track progress.
