Job summary

Joye Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated paralegal with a passion for justice to join their personal injury team in South Carolina. The role emphasizes providing exceptional client service, document review, and thorough case management in a pre-litigation setting, with coverage for teammates during absences.

Spanish language fluency is required. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of personal injury paralegal experience, proficiency with Word, Outlook, Lawbase, and Worldox,

Qualifications

• Three years as a personal injury paralegal or similar experience required.
• Language ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service by updating clients on case status via phone, text, and email.
• Review documents for accuracy and maintain thorough documentation in the case management system.
• Manage retrieval and processing of medical records and bills.
• Maintain physical custody of files and keep them organized and up to date.
• Assist the assigned attorney with case files and tasks.
• Cover for others when on vacation or LOAs; handle pre-litigation files (no post-suit litigation).
