Bensenville School District 2 is seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking Pre-K Paraprofessional to join Tioga Elementary School. You will support our youngest learners with diverse needs by helping them build foundational academic, social, communication, behavioral, and self-help skills in a structured, caring, and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional License required or eligible.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry and communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developmentally appropriate instructional materials and activities.
• Support daily routines and transitions, including toileting and self-care.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to reinforce early learning skills.
• Provide bilingual Spanish/English language support to students as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with communication and interactions with students whose home language is Spanish.
• Assist with supervision and instruction of students as directed.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
• Collect and maintain data on student progress as directed by the teacher.
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to support student goals.
• Participate in staff development activities as directed by contract.
