Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with focus on psychiatric nursing.
• Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health.
• 1–2 years providing direct client care to persons with psychiatric disorders.
• Ability to work with both adult and youth/child populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Collaborate with counselors, social workers, or other treatment team members to coordinate client care.
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing entries.
• Design and participate in individualized treatment plans incorporating best practices.
• Examine or order labs or diagnostic tests as needed for mental health evaluation.
• Follow NOAH policies and federal/state regulations in all duties.
