Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - 1099

Entune Behavioral Health offers outpatient behavioral health services for children and adults in multiple clinics throughout Arizona. We provide couple’s and family therapy services, Psychiatric Evaluations, and Medication Management Services. We are actively seeking PMHNP independent contractors (1099) in Tucson and the Phoenix Metro area, AZ, to provide telehealth and in-person services to our clinics in Arizona.

Role and Responsibilities

• Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns.
• Documents items such as: chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment, and plan.
• Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Assists with oversight of Therapist’s intakes as applicable based on insurance requirements.
• Prescribes and administers medications, therapies, and procedures.
• Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow up.
• Completes integrated healthcare referrals internally and externally as requested and as medically necessary.
• Responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services.
• Attends interdisciplinary team meetings and provides consultation as applicable.
• Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner (48 hours) in the electronic healthcare record.
• Maintains quality of care standards as defined by the practice.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license.
• Current and unrestricted DEA certificate.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid, DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card certifications.
• Effective communication skills.
• Travel as needed between Tucson and Phoenix Metro clinics.
• Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Takes initiative, creative, has problem solving ability, is adaptable, and flexible.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Pay Rate is DOE
