Job summary

MAC Incorporated is seeking a bilingual Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Norwalk, CA. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production assets with emphasis on PLC automation and safety procedures.

The candidate must have at least 5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment, and be fluent in English and Spanish. Work hours are 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with rotating weekends and mandatory overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Strong knowledge of PLC automation, controls, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical procedures, service manuals, and work orders.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and related electrical components.
• Support Sanitation during end-of-day activities and equipment reassembly.
• Perform equipment setups for the next production day.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies promptly.
• Read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and work orders.
