Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs, including handling unsuitable units.
• Verify pre-printed labels against dynamic labels for accuracy.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and heat seal to maintain sterility.
• May pack and ship samples and units; prepare shipping and disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures; report issues and record variances.
• Conduct daily equipment calibration as per SOPs.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Understand policies related to hyperimmune programs at the center.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• May cross-train in other areas as needed; bilingual skills may be required at organization’s discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
