Job summary

Mountain Park Health Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to support patient intake, assist with exercises, and help implement prescribed therapies in a clinical setting. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Preferred: PTT clinical experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English or Somali/English.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient intake tasks and records histories and vital signs.
• Assists patients with exercises during physical therapy sessions.
• Assists with prescribed treatment modalities as directed.
• Reports patient progress to the physical therapist.
• Liaises between patients, therapists, assistants and departments.
• Maintains supplies and therapy equipment in treatment areas.
• Supports continuity of patient care with internal health departments.
• Ensures safety and reports hazards to supervisory staff.
