Accounting Search in Houston is seeking a Phlebotomist (Spanish-speaking) for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and proper transport of samples.

The role requires a valid Phlebotomy certification and 6 months' experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred. Schedule is 8:30am-5pm, Mon-Fri, with benefits available.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must speak Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport.
• Attend annual department trainings.
