Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 5 to 7+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and maintain proper documentation.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Package specimens for transport and document in required systems.
