Job summary

Community Health Center of Snohomish County is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in delivering pharmacy services. Under supervision, you will process prescription requests, stock supplies and support patient assistance programs and third-party reimbursements.

Required are a high school diploma and completion of an approved technician program; customer service experience is essential. Proficiency with pharmacy software and MS Office is expected in a fast-paced clinic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy software is advantageous.
• Customer service experience with the public is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in delivering pharmacy services.
• Process prescription requests and stock supplies.
• Document third-party reimbursements and assist with patient programs.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and labels.
• Answer inquiries regarding prescriptions, prices and availability.
• Ensure compliance with attendance and operational standards.
