Community Health Center of Snohomish County is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in delivering pharmacy services. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, duties include processing prescription requests, stocking, and documenting third party reimbursements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, completed a Pharmacy Technician training program, WA certification, and ideally bilingual skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program or an employee-based program approved by The Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission.
• Pharmacy Technician certification with the State of Washington.
• 1 year of customer service experience working with the public.

Responsabilités

• Answer inquiries regarding prescriptions, availability and price of products, and general pharmacy information.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies; perform inventory audits.
• Under pharmacist supervision, record medical histories, bill third party plans, handle overrides or prior authorizations, generate labels, fill orders and release prescriptions.
• File and retrieve pharmacy records and enter drug descriptions into the computer; print patient profiles and drug information sheets.
• Monitor inventory for recalls; handle patient billing questions and maintain records of transactions.
• Assist with patient assistance programs and ensure daily attendance for operations.
