Job summary

Rightway is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to serve as the primary contact for members, providers, and pharmacies via phone, chat, and email, supporting claims adjudication and benefit design.

The role emphasizes accuracy, use of AI-enabled tools, and collaboration with clinical pharmacists to enroll patients in programs; bilingual English/Spanish required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Active/Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, or PBM contact center.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology.
• Ability to multitask across concurrent phone, chat, and email queues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies via phone, chat, and email.
• Resolve inquiries regarding mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication cost, and claims adjudication.
• Assist network pharmacies in processing prescription claims and reviewing accuracy against guidelines.
• Support clinical pharmacists with patient outreach, appointment scheduling, and clinical program enrollment.
• Document all interactions accurately within internal systems for compliance and quality assurance.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and internal knowledge systems to resolve inquiries efficiently.
