Job summary

Legacy Community Health in Houston seeks a Bilingual Pharmacy Technician. You will assist pharmacists with medication preparation, fulfillment, and delivery, while supporting safe, accurate, and timely pharmacy operations.

You will maintain stock, ensure proper dispensing, and support insurance processes. A strong emphasis on communication with patients, physicians, and the community is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must pass a math test relevant to retail pharmacy activities.
• Maintain BLS/CPR and required certifications.
• Two years healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing, filling, and delivering medications.
• Ensure accurate dispensing and proper labeling of medications.
• Maintain adequate stock and safe handling of medications.
• Process insurance adjudication and pre-authorizations in a timely manner.
• Document daily activities and inventories; participate in quality checks.
