Legacy Northline in Houston is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Medical Assistant (Pediatrics) to support clinical care and patient communication. You will directly assist with exams, prepare treatment spaces, and maintain a clean, well-stocked environment to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes injections, phlebotomy, and diagnostic support within a community-focused primary care setting, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Up to one year healthcare experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to gather medical history and measure vital signs.
• Record medical history, vital signs, and test results in EMR.
• Collect and prepare blood, tissue, or other specimens for lab testing with proper labeling.
• Assist physicians during patient exams and ensure instruments are ready.
• Prepare treatment rooms and restock supplies.
• Sterilize instruments and follow safety protocols.
• Discuss test results and health concerns with patients via phone.
• Perform phlebotomy and other diagnostic tests as required.
