Job summary

CMR Insurance Agency LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Personal Lines Producer to maintain profitable relationships with personal lines clients and grow the book of business through new client sales. Bilingual Spanish desirable.

You will identify opportunities, provide quotes, bind coverage, and educate clients on coverages and rates; collaborate with team and mentor staff to reach sales targets and keep knowledge current.

Qualifications

• Hold the insurance license required by your state and have at least two years of personal and commercial lines experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and via written communication.
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients through follow-up, accurate quotations, and general account support.
• Actively prospect round accounts and increase coverage, networking for new clients.
• Obtain best coverage and rate, process quotes and bind coverage, with follow-up on inspections and documentation.
• Educate insured on coverages and rates; present policies to insured.
• Monitor, report on sales targets and document activity in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team, mentor staff and stay informed on industry knowledge and CE.
