Job summary

CMR Insurance Agency LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Personal Lines Producer to grow the book of business by selling personal and commercial coverages and by maintaining profitable client relationships. You will identify opportunities, provide accurate quotes, bind coverage, and educate clients on coverages and rates while pursuing new business, retaining customers, and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Hold required state license and have relevant insurance experience.
• Minimum two years of personal/commercial lines account management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience in the field.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, ratings, and underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients and prospects with quotations and account support.
• Actively prospect round accounts, solicit increases, and network for new clients.
• Obtain best coverage and rate, process quotes, and bind insurance; educate clients on coverages.
• Monitor and report on metrics to achieve sales targets and document activities accurately.
• Collaborate with team, mentor staff, and participate in meetings; maintain CE and industry knowledge.
