myPlace Health in the Greater Los Angeles area seeks a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or CNA to support frail older adults onsite. You’ll assist with daily activities, accompany participants to appointments, and help maintain a warm, respectful environment for each member and their family.

You’ll work with an interdisciplinary care team to monitor wellbeing, follow care plans, and provide reliable transportation and in-home support as needed, including meal help and safety reminders.

Formación

• Experience as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or CNA with frail/elderly clients.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willing to obtain within 60 days.
• CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred but not required.
• Willingness to provide care in participants' homes when needed.
• Flexible, reliable with CA driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Bilingual ability is a plus for serving diverse community.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, meals.
• Assist with transportation in and out of vehicles and accompany to appointments.
• Support mealtimes and assist with eating as needed.
• Ensure safety during activities with proper techniques.
• Assist with meal delivery and create a welcoming dining experience.
• Monitor participant wellbeing and report changes to the care team.
• Maintain stocked supplies and organize personal care items.
• Follow care plans from the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate warmly with participants, families, and providers.
• Be flexible to help where needed to ensure high-quality care.
