Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both Spanish and English.
• Six months of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Pass background investigation per company policy.
• Team player who works well with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with cash handling in a high-volume sales environment under supervision.
• Evaluate customer relationships to offer bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets as assigned by upper management.
• Participate in in-store prospecting within the branch.
• Process deposits and pay outs, balance daily transactions.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and check endorsements.
• Guard against counterfeit checks and improper ID.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs; process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base (including Spanish speakers).
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors; maintain regular attendance.
