Job summary

Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center is seeking a Mobile Permanent Supportive Housing Specialist (MPSH) to help individuals transition to permanent housing, in collaboration with local partner organizations. The role includes developing housing plans, completing applications, coordinating with property managers, and maintaining participant records.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) required; a Bachelor's in social/human services and QMHP certification or plan to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social/human services or mental health field required.
• QMHP certified or willing to obtain certification with support.
• Experience working with homeless Latinx/Hispanic and other BIPOC communities.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing placement and retention support services to participants.
• Develop individualized housing plans and identify supportive services.
• Assist with housing applications and required paperwork.
• Build relationships with resident services staff and property managers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of participant interactions and services.
• Attend weekly case meetings and coordinate with team members.
• Attend training and meetings to maintain knowledge of housing/homelessness issues.
