Job summary

BestCare Treatment Services Inc is seeking a Housing Coordinator to support clients with severe and persistent mental illness in obtaining and maintaining housing under Oregon’s Supported Housing Program. The role requires coordination with landlords, community resources, and treatment teams to ensure program compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in social services or a related field and may pursue QMHA certification; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or a behavioral health-related discipline; OR
• Three (3) years of experience in the behavioral health field.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to clients seeking housing and assists with securing and maintaining stable housing.
• Coordinates with the housing team to meet contract requirements and participate in treatment team meetings.
• Maintains relationships with landlords and property managers; ensures housing units meet state codes and guidelines.
• Supports client skill-building and participates in Ready to Rent, budgeting, and related programs.
