Integrated Care for Greater Health, Inc. (ICGH) is seeking a bilingual Peer Support Specialist to provide compassionate, person-centered recovery coaching entirely by telephone and video in English and Spanish.

You’ll use lived experience to help people set recovery goals, access community supports, and stay engaged in their own progress, while documenting work and maintaining confidentiality in a remote, telephonic setting.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide peer support comfortably in both languages.
• Peer support certification from North Carolina, any other U.S. state, or a national certifying organization.
• 2–5 years of peer-support experience preferred.
• Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable providing support through telephone and video platforms.
• 100% remote work; virtual and telephonic services only

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one peer support by phone and video in both English and Spanish.
• Help individuals identify recovery goals, strengthen self-advocacy, and build practical recovery skills.
• Connect participants with community resources and recovery supports.
• Offer encouragement, build trust, and support engagement in recovery.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, confidentiality, and professional peer-support boundaries.
• Collaborate with the peer-support team and participate in supervision.
