The role involves delivering skilled therapy per physician orders in patients’ homes or daytime facilities. Responsibilities include supervising visits with the SLP, collaborating with the care team, and planning care to meet therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Texas SLPA licensure required.
• Minimum 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides services in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP as per Texas guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address patient goals with the team.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Keeps current with knowledge through education, publications, networks and professional organizations.
