Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car seeks a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) licensed in Texas to deliver pediatric speech therapy in patients’ homes or daytime facilities. The role requires at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience and pediatric exposure.

You will coordinate weekly supervision with a licensed SLP and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient goals, while pursuing ongoing education and professional development to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional activities.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by owning new requests and adding value to job accomplishments.
