Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide pediatric speech therapy services in patients’ homes or daytime facilities. The role includes coordinating with a supervising SLP, planning care to meet therapy goals, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), hold a Texas SLPA license, and have at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience in pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional activities.
